SALESPERSON PRELICENSE- 60 Hour

 

 Description:  Our 60 hour pre-license course is designed to enable you to pass the national real estate exam and complies with all requirements of the Alabama Real Estate Commission.  Our classes are limited to no more than ten students.  Small classes encourage lively student-instructor interaction.  Class meets Mondays,Thursdays and three (3) Saturdays to complete the course in 8 weeks.  MONDAY and THURSDAY CLASS MEET FROM 5:30 PM to 8:00PM. SATURDAY CLASS MEET 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The course covers the basics of ownership, transfer and use of property, real estate laws, finance, contracts and other required topics. POST LICENSE- 30 Hour

Realtors® GUIDE TO THE MORTGAGE LENDING PROCESS 

 

Description:  Mortgage lending can be a maze of unfamiliar terminology and requirements.  This course examines the process of mortgage lending from the application to the final settlement statement and covers TIL, title insurance, underwriting, good faith estimate, appraisals and the REALTOR® role in the process.

RISK MANAGMENT- AVOIDING VIOLATIONS

 

Description: This course is required of all licensees. The course covers the licensee’s obligation in regards to mortgage fraud, misleading advertising, unlicensed assistants and various other topics are discussed and studied.

Description: This course may be selected as one of the risk management courses required for all licensees, except for brokers.  The course covers the roles of a licensee may perform in Alabama, obligation of a licensee to all parties, fiduciary duties an agent owns to clients and provisions of RECAD.
